Recipes at Greenbelt 5

One of the benefits of having a blog is that you can try various activities, cuisines and food joints even some hole- in – the wall restaurants sometimes and you get to share to the world your daily conquests and new finds which caught your eye and your appetite. Good thing Pat is quite well versed with some of the best food joints here in the Metropolis and good thing too that we both love trying out something new especially when it comes to food! 🙂

We eat various cuisines from Greek to Japanese to Chinese to Italian to whatever catches our fancy. So for this particular Sunday after my shift at work and after hearing mass and fulfilling our Sunday Obligations to God we decided to try out some good Filipino food so we went to Recipes in Greenbelt 5 upon his suggestion.

We sat in their outdoor seats overlooking the mall since it was too cold and noisy on the inside. The usual cost for two people approximately would be at P650 more or less. They even got me a buko juice from the other restaurant beside it since according to our food server the two food joints are interlinked by the same owner.

Their usual operating hours are from 11 AM to 3 PM, 5:30 PM to 10 PM (Mon-Thu), 11 AM to 3 PM, 5:30 PM to 11 PM (Friday), 11 AM to 11 PM (Saturday), 11 AM to 10 PM (Sunday). Good thing we weren’t too late. We were supposed to order their Spicy Squid but I did not want to since I thought that it would be messy since my ideas of squid comes with their black ink. So we opted to have the Thai Spring Rolls for our appetizer, buko juice for my drink, Gising Gising (175) for our daily source of veggies, one crispy tilapia and their garlic chicken with rice to complete our selection. Their food was definitely worth the wait I must say! 🙂 The Gising Gising was very tasty and appealing and their fish was also delectable. This is definitely one Filipino restaurant I would definitely come back to.
