This is a late post since I wasn’t able to blog about our dinner at Sumosam last Sunday which also turned out to be Father’s Day due to other pressing matters that took a toll on me and my schedule this week. Anyway, moving on Mom decided to treat the whole family to a Japanese restaurant to celebrate Father’s Day.
I drove out to Robinson’s Magnolia with my siblings since Mom already went ahead to the venue since she already had been out since the morning. We met her there at the venue and decided to order already while waiting for our parents since they took such a long time and my brother was getting quite agitated already at the long waiting time.
Our appetizer was served quite fast as compared to the usual 15-20 minutes of waiting it usually takes before they can render your order to you. The staff was very attentive and responsive to our needs and our orders were all met efficiently. We had some greens when my Mom arrived in the form of their “Sumosam’s Pride” priced at Php 289 this was made up of some prawns, tomatoes, nuts and of course the dressing which came fairly matched to their lettuce leaves. Then we had the Cheese Fried Maki, I must say this was one of my favorites which I quickly consumed! 🙂 The cheese is really evident in the taste and it leaves you with a “wanting for more feeling” , we also had their blue lemonade for our drinks (Since blue is my favorite color) and also added two other viands to complete our hunger pangs and cap off our dinner. The food was great and the service was note worthy! 🙂 Good thing there wasn’t really a queue outside so the waitress was able to escort us to our seats.
