Body Delight Spa: Full Body Massage, hot stone treatment and ear candling session

This is a follow up post to my previous post about our UST event which transpired from 11am-4pm. We met up around 9am to do some final touches on our props and also gave some allowance for our travel time. After the event we were so exhausted and I wanted to do something relaxing. (Massages always gave me that fuzzy, warm and relaxing feeling after a long and tiring day). So I suggested to Pat that we try out this massage place at E.Rod since it’s quite near to their place so it’s quite convenient for him and less of a hassle.

We came across this massage spa called “Body Delight” where we availed of their packages since they had a promo for 599 which was inclusive of a whole body massage, an ear candling session and also a hot stone massage. Pat wasn’t really a fan of massages but he stayed there with me and decided to have a spot massage instead wherein they target various parts of your body where you feel you’re most stressed. (I think he had a head massage and a foot reflexology massage). Thanks Love for sticking it our with me throughout the whole thing πŸ™‚ hehe.

We had some hot chamomile tea after the massage and we requested for lotion instead of oil to avoid that greasy and sticky feeling you get when you apply the oil. Unfortunately, I think it was not cascaded to my attendant and she applied the oil to me so I was left feeling greasy afterwards which I remedied by requesting for a hot towel which I dipped into some lukewarm water. My hair was just as oily.Β  No thanks to the oil, but good thing I was about to head off home already.

The ear candling session was quite new for me since I haven’t tried it out before. They would insert the candle into your ear and you would feel a little pressure then they would light a match and I think the smoke from the candle was supposed to have some effect on you since afterwards she showed me a paper with some black marks on it. I guess it was all the dirt and grime they got? Not sure! πŸ™‚ But it felt good afterwards! πŸ™‚ hehe. The hot stone was also very relaxing for me, though if you’re not careful you might burn yourself since it’s really hot when they apply it to your bare skin but the aftereffect was so worth it for me! πŸ™‚

We would definitely recommend the place if you’re looking for something budget friendly πŸ™‚ Their regular massages comes off at 250/ hour only! πŸ™‚ However, the massage could have been a little better since I wasn’t able to get out all the cold lumps from my system. Until my next adventure! πŸ™‚
