I had work last Sunday after our Marketing Finals last Saturday followed by a Fellowship dinner at our Professor’s place in Bel- Air Makati. Thanks for being so hospitable Sir! 😀 I think I had a drink too many or maybe I easily just get too “woozy” after downing some liquor since we were so happy that this term is finally over and we were to start anew. Whohoo! Three cheers to that!
Yey! We are actually nearing finishing off our MBA’s! 😀 Whohoo! 🙂 Well, that’s for those who have only a few subjects left, as for me. I still have a year to go before I graduate since I have only completed around 20 plus units or so and a lot more to go but of course as early as now I have to carefully plan my thesis already so that I won’t stress myself out too much when my Strama comes. (School and Work is sometimes hard to balance especially when you also have a lot of stuff on your plate too like me). So I’m not really rushing just taking my time and just doing the best I can.
I got home around 3am maybe in the morning from the Fellowship night and just counted a couple of hours for my rest then I headed out to work again at 7am after showering and downing in my breakfast. Since I was quite exhausted from the lack of sleep I told Pat that we just had to hear mass then maybe grab something to eat then head off home since I still had work early again the next day. (Thanks for being understanding 🙂 )
We heard mass and even saw one of our classmates in church then went off to have dinner at Tender Bobs in Shangri-La Mall since they had a new wing that was being renovated to gather more traffic I guess. Malls are innovating and upgrading their interiors! 😀 Very competitive! 😀
After scouring through a couple of joints we eventually ended up at Tender Bobs. Forget about your diet when you visit Tender Bob’s. Since I love Tapa and Steak,Tender Bob’s was a slice of heaven!. I have visited Tender Bob’s before (Greenhills Branch with my uncle and fambam) and now to It’s EDSA Shangri La Mall branch after hearing mass.
I liked their EDSA Shangri La branch, American decorations and picture frames adorned the place just like your usual steak houses and US themed establishments.
We ordered the usual favorites in most steak houses – the US Angus Rib Eye Steak and their Baby Back Ribs. It definitely tastes good! Especially the Baby Back Ribs. The meat is so soft you will hardly need a knife when you eat it. You also get to choose which sidings you want. Here are the sidings you can choose from for the Back Ribs: Steamed Rice, Garlic Rice, Java Rice, Angus Rice, Mashed potato, BOMB, Garlic Bread and Oven-roasted potatoes.
I had the Oven Roasted Potatoes and Pat had the Bomb. We also had some Java Rice since we were hungry. I had their Iced Tea and Pat exchanged his side dish with me since I liked his side dish called “Bomb” (This was made of butter, eggs and some potatoes) better. I also choose the “Hungry” serving since I’m not really a heavy eater. 😀 We were so full afterwards we could barely walk so we walked towards the parking to have some semblance of exercise. Another awesome food trip.
