Since Annabelle the movie gave me the goosebumps and quite a fright with some scenes we opted to watch another movie this week after my work got done last Friday night. It got me singing the lyrics of Last Friday Night by Katy Perry:
We went streaking in the park
Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a ménage à trois
Last Friday night
Yeah I think we broke the law
Always say we’re gonna stop
I love Katy Perry’s songs like Last Friday Night, Dark Horse, Part of Me and the likes not only does she introduce a fresh air of music to my ears it also makes me want to dance to these bouncy tunes and also sometimes appeals to our emotions like your love that got lost and got away. “The One that Got Away” one of my ultimate faves from way back since it kept playing on the radio stations before non stop so it kind of rubbed off me as well.
There’s actually a lot of books made into movies that I want to watch when I get the chance. Get your popcorn, your sodas and your lazy boy seats at home all ready and set them all up as you dim the lights and just sit back and relax as you delve into the movie world once again. Anyway, since I haven’t pored over the action packed, thrilling book and I just heard rave reviews about this movie from my sister and my friends. P and I decided to watch this movie. To catch a general idea of the movie here’s the trailer of The Maze Runner:
Some of the books which I read from before which eventually got turned into movies and which I queued up for just to watch these best selling novels turned movies are: Some best selling Novels from Nicholas Sparks (A Walk to Remember, True Believer, The Lucky One, Dear John, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe and the likes) The Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series from JK Rowling.
I am also looking forward to watching the next part of the Hunger Games trilogy soon to hit the cinemas and also this book which I recently read about a run away bride which will be turned into a movie called “Gone Girl”. So many good movies to watch! 😀 I’m already getting excited just anticipating the arrival of these! 😀
Okay, So I’m already veering off topic here. The screen play was awesome! 😀 Well, I’m not really a film critic here, just someone who loves watching movies and making notes about how I felt after every watch. There was not a dull moment throughout the film, I guess it is because it somehow managed to stay as close to the book as possible without altering much on the play of events that would soon unfold.
Definitely worth your time and money! 😀
