DREAM. BELIEVE. SURVIVE.
Ring a bell? That’s precisely because it’s those three words which gave rise to one of today’s most sought after reality TV Shows which aims to discover fresh new talents out there in the goal of eventually making them into bright young stars of their generation and eventually gaining them hordes of fans along the way. (I love this show!)
Blogging for the past 3 months has already given me a lot of opportunities and loads of experiences worth noting. 10 years or 5 years down the line I would never regret starting my first blog post and documenting my experiences on a daily basis. Not only has it given me countless opportunities and “experiences” it has also generated me friends from all over.
I have made friends with some esteemed You Tubers, Food Bloggers, to some fashionable beauty and lifestyle bloggers. Everyone has a story to share, if we only took a moment from our very busy schedule to hear out their heart wrenching stories and be inspired as how they were made to the persons they are now.
Moving on, I was given the elusive privilege to have a one on one session with some esteemed and in demand talents nowadays namely: (Drum roll please) No less than the ever beautiful and amicable Yasmien Kurdi and Rich Asuncion who came in donning some shades of pink and purple since that was the theme of the event. Both were Starstruck alumni as you may have all know.
A handful of guests were also present mostly coming from the entertainment industry, You tubers, Make up artists and some entertainment writers and bloggers. I was nursing a fever during that day but I was glad that I did not miss this rare opportunity to have a sit down session with these stars while sipping some drinks, having a mani-pedi session and while being pampered alongside them just like we were good friends. (Yey!) 😀
They were very chummy and down to earth and during the course of the conversation I was quite amazed at how simple they were despite their social stature in the world of showbizness. They were even doling out their two cents worth of advice on their make up must haves and even let us beauty bloggers do their make up and they even shared with us some of their experiences while shooting some scenes for their upcoming teleserye Yagit! 😀
I made the most of this opportunity presented to me by taking some time off to take photos of their outfits and also noting their Make up “Must Haves” like the Maybelline mascara which is also my favorite since it’s very affordable and comes in a good quality too. 🙂 Makes my eyelashes look longer and adds more volume to my sparse lashes.
Getting a one on one sit down session with these stars let us have a sneak peak on how they are in real life away from the rolling cameras and bright lights. They got to be real and just like normal yuppies have a great and awesome time with us! :D.
Catch these Starstruck Stars in their upcoming show at GMA 7: Mga Batang Yagit; Something to definitely watch out for. 😀
