Well hello there! 😀 It seems that my day off from work is already coming to a close and tomorrow is another brand new working day! 😀 Whohoo! 😀 Which entails that I must hit the sack soon to catch up on my much well deserved R&R but before I do that I will post another one of our recent food trips to decrease my blogging back log and also to share with you my experience about this new joint we tried. Woot Woot! 😀
So moving on, since I had work that day P and I decided to meet up at the Fort and have dinner since I was also going to drop by the Fort after work because I would have my hair trimmed for a few inches (chop, chop) and also get my well deserved pampering session since I recently received a coupon from David’s Salon which entitles me to a haircut with a free massage and hot oil for only 300 bucks 😀 Cool right?
So to make the most of this opportunity I decided to avail of it. Thank you to our sponsors 😀 Yey! 😀 The other day I got a free make up session/ free make over from Wet and Wild cosmetics along with their talented Hair and Make Up artists :D. Meanwhile my friends Kat and Jallin got their nails painted in a very vibrant pink tone. 😀
I wanted to grab my favorite milktea from Serenitea so I headed off to order my favorite Okinawa with my favorite sinkers. Guess what? Of course their signature pearls 😀 Then we trudged off to dinner since we were already hungry from the long walk we endured the whole day. 😀
Parking caused us a lot of trouble along the way since the roads were quite congested due to the traffic gridlock we experienced since a lot of folks was heading off to eat out and dine at the Fort that night.
Sweet Bella is located along the confines of the lush grounds of Burgos Circle. The ambiance was very classy just like Melo’s
(I remember eating their steak here 2 years ago which cost around 2,500/ head) and exudes an air of sophistication with the dimly lit lights, their white decorated plastic chairs, their subtle and soft tuned music which you can hear reverberating and echoing along the four corners of the restaurant. Perfect for a night cap with your girls or a relaxing feel good date night with your significant other.
We were able to try their sauteed mushrooms, bacon wrapped chicken and their beef dish which reminded me of ” Lechon Paksiw” it was disappointing since we expected more from this high end restaurant. I guess deserts are more of their cup of tea.
Their mushrooms were just average, since it wasn’t really as bustling with flavor like Kulinarya’s sauteed mushrooms. 😦 It just came off as just your regular button mushrooms with too much oil. Their Bacon wrapped dish on the other hand that has some creamy and cheesy taste to it, was quite okay but a bit disappointing because we were expecting bacon that was coating the chicken however what we got was an uncanny resemblance to a cordon bleu dish since the chicken had some cream cheese filling to it coupled with some bacon bits.
I guess we should try out their desserts the next time we drop by the place. Until next time.
