Manila, Philippines (26 November 2014) – When Jane Villanueva was a young girl, her grandmother, Alba, convinced her of two things: telenovelas are the highest form of entertainment, and women must protect their virginity at all costs. Now age 23, Jane is a driven young woman studying to become a teacher, nursing a dream to be a writer, and supporting herself with a job at a hot new Miami hotel.
Want to buy the car of your dreams but you have limited options? Want to sell your car but your buyers are limited? Need that extra push with regards to expanding your exposure and marketing your automobile? Well Carmudi made all those fears and hesitations all go away because it addressed your dealer and buyer dilemmas by relaunching their website last week.
I was fortunate to be amongst the few bloggers to be invited to this momentous event. The food was sumptuous, the place was very classy and sleek in presentation and the girls were very well dressed and were definite head turners during the course of the night. Also lucky winners got the elusive chance to drive a Ford car to any destination for the whole weekend! How awesome is that? 🙂 They also doled out various loot bags which contained a very comfortable neck pillow which I immediately used to cushion my neck while driving along the congested lanes of Edsa. To give you a brief backgrounder on Carmudi here’s a little inside scoop.
Did I just read it right? You may wonder? Yes my dear readers you read it right! 🙂 The new app to be raved about is in town and it’s called Buqo! 🙂 Not Buko like my ultimate favorite Buko Juice but Buqo! 🙂 Repeat. B-U-Q-O! 🙂 There! 🙂 Perfect! 🙂
Moving on, I used to have back strains from lugging around those hardbound books in my backpack and fitting everything in as long as I can still manage to stand up and carry all those weight on my back and shoulders I would carry on like a turtle with a home and get all giddy and hyped up once I open the fresh pages of a new book or magazine I managed to borrow from the library or a book I managed to snag from the bookshelf. 😀
I have always wanted to watch this film since everyone especially my girl friends had been gushing about it the minute it hit the cinemas. The plot was based on a best selling novel and it appeals to the emotions of the same audience of the book TFIOS.
It also tackles issues and emotions that are realistic and hard to bear for the faint of heart. It was just recently that I finally found the luxury of time to sit back and relax while watching this tear jerking movie.
To get a general idea I attached here the trailer of the movie. Enjoy watching 🙂 Hope you watch it for yourselves too it’s a neat movie! 🙂
On November 21st, The Philippines will bring forth a festival that will fuse its biggest talents in one massive celebration of sound – the Sandstorm Electronic Experience, produced as a collaboration between So Familiar Productions, The Wildfire Productions and Trance Till Dawn. The event aims to make a staple when it comes to the music festival in Southeast Asia as well as to make the Philippines, the next music destination.
I was fortunate to be invited as one of their Media Partners to cover this said event wherein Yoshinoya ( A Japanese fast food chain giant) decided to come out with their latest deliciously whipped Gyudon (Beef Bowls) promo in lieu with the Holiday season. This is the same product profile where Yoshinoya operates in other parts of the world.
I have read and pored over all the pages of this much talked about trilogy of the Hunger Games book by Suzanne Collins. I was hooked from the first novel and read on until I finished all three books. That was how my love affair for this trilogy started. I have also watched The Hunger Games to Catching Fire to the first part of the last book Mockingjay Part 1. So when I heard that this movie was about to hit the cinemas I was eagerly waiting again in the front line to catch a glimpse if it’s cinematic portrayal would do justice to the book.
For those who haven’t watched the trailer yet. Here’s a quick one for you.
Where do I begin? A lot of thoughts are swarming all over my head right now. 🙂 With all the events that had transpired this week from my tour with the Indonesian Medical Directors, to my Movie Invite to this eye opening film You’re not You to meeting the gorgeous contenders for the Ms. Earth 2014 pageant. Awesome adventures again for me this week!! 😀 I get so giddy and excited once again as another week fast approaches! 🙂 Time really does pass by too fast when you’re having fun.
So let get the ball rolling and get started to one of the events that definitely struck a chord in my heartstrings and made me tear up during the course of the almost two hour movie. Ever heard of the viral Ice Bucket Challenge? Well then, this is where it all originated. Warning: Be prepared with your tissue box because your tears will definitely well up along the course of this heart wrenching and touching movie.
Since I love watching movies and making reviews about it. Here’s a trailer of the movie.
I was fortunate along with 4 other bloggers to be invited last week to this volunteer meet up with other people and teens who had the same passion and paradigm in life which is to make this world a better place.
Since I was coding during this day I decided to go along with my friends as they tried out this new joint along the confines of the upscale Mckinley Hill in the Fort. Along the course of the ride we were all enjoying the friendly banter and the witty retorts from Kai and Bebs.
I parked in front of this joint and then headed off to the second deck where we were ushered in and seated.
