I was fortunate to be included in their top five list of beauty bloggers to attend this most sought after make up tutorial workshop by Techne. This was founded by three beautiful friends one being architect who bakes such yummy treats (Nizza) ,her best friend since the grades (Rizza) and their resident make up artist (Vicel).
This workshop was held along the densely populated confines of Tomas Morato in Thompson Square 2nd Floor yesterday November 15, 2014 at approximately around 1pm in the afternoon. 😀 When I got there the participants of the workshop were already donning on various shades of eyeshadow ranging from the lightest to the darkest of colors depending on their skin tone and color. They first started off with a make up tutorial wherein Ms. Vicel explained and demonstrated the various types of skin and brows and how to go about it. After their tutorial the students are left to their own devices to practice what they have learned from the lecture. Of course our make up artists will be going around the venue to answer various queries and assist the students to be able to perfect this craft and ingrain this lesson of beauty. 😀
Ms. Nizza then amicably ushered me to my seat with my name plastered on it. 😀 then she gave me a name tag for identification purposes throughout the course of the workshop. We had a “Before” and “After ” shot. The eyebrows took most of the time of the girls since it’s the hardest to construct and also it can make or break your look of the day.
Being women, make up nowadays is not just a luxury or something to be ignored. It for me is more of a necessity especially with my line of work wherein I always attend various events because you have to look presentable always since when you look good on the outside you also feel good on the inside. Works for me every time. 🙂
They also had some of their seasoned and talented hair and make up artists in tow to aid us in our queries and various apprehensions about make up and it’s applications. I personally wanted to learn how to contour my face and shape my brows so it’s arch will look defined. 😀
While going about the various skin care routines and make up regimen to keep us looking at the top of our game we helped ourselves to some yummy sweets and treats from Paulette’s chocolates which happened to be the brainchild of Ms. Nizza. 😀 For your orders and inquires feel free to check out her website.
I honestly loved the crunchy cookies! 🙂 It was a definitely a treat for innate my sweet tooth! 😀 I loved how it kind of melted in my mouth and presented itself nicely in a chips ahoy kind of way and as you slowly chew it some morsels and nuggets of the rich chocolate can be felt melting in your mouth. 😀 Definitely a must try! 😀
Certificates, a basic brush set, some cookies and sweets, a lip stick from Elf and some studio shots also came along with this make up workshop package.
There was also a slight product introduction from one of Ms. Vicel’s friends who taught us what right supplements are appropriate for our body in order for us to appear in tip top shape always. 😀
I definitely learned a lot from this event. Looking forward to booking my reservation for their next workshop 😀 Which I’m pretty sure is going to be even more fun and brimming with surprises for us.
