TAlKaBOut Fitness: Sports Nutrition 2014

I’m not really keen on what I eat this past few weeks or so especially with the advent of all the food tasting sessions and foodie meet ups I frequent nowadays. Not that I’m complaining ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m really thankful to God for all these blessings He has generously bestowed upon me and I do my best to keep myself updated by reading more and attending more events. Yey! ๐Ÿ™‚ However, I presume that all those calories I ingested from my usual foodie sessions tends to take a toll on my health and my overall well being as evidenced by my significant weight gain since I last weighed in on the scale and I feel more sluggish and sleepy as of late. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Good thing having friends who are health enthusiasts come in handy especially during these trying times for my weight and my dangerously going overboard eating habits. Last week I was invited by one of my blogger friends Tonette from The Health Junkie who is a staunch advocate of good eating habits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

There was even an unexpected downpour during that night and the traffic was also bad since it was after the office hours and during the rush hours when it was held at the 100 Miles Cafe 2nd Floor located along the various resto- bars in the Fort Strip. Good thing I managed to make it there just in the nick of time before it began. ๐Ÿ™‚

Various speakers took their health advocacies on stage and shared with us their running tips, hydration tips and good eating habits to be on top of your game all the time.

It was really educational for me and I definitely gained a lot of insights along the course of the session. Upon leaving the venue I resolved to myself to at least incorporate again more greens into my daily diet and lessen my cravings for sweets and chocolates. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Also we should really be keen on jogging or exercising more nowadays to keep us all in tip top shape and make us feel good not only on the outside but also in the inside as well since it’s beneficial for our cardiovascular and respiratory systems and also all those flabby arms and thunder thighs will be slashed to shame and you’ll be left with that much coveted well toned body. Now who wouldn’t love that? ๐Ÿ˜€
