I missed blogging bigtime! A lot of happenings had been happening to me lately. Good thing there’s this Papal Holiday from this January 15-19, 2015 wherein we can all commemorate and celebrate God’s love and utmost compassion for us despite all the many transgressions we have accumulated through the years.
I fervently pray for discernment and wisdom in everything that we do and also to grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference. Since we all cannot undo the past but instead learn all those lessons from it and seek the wisdom from all your experiences and from the elders as well since they have all the jewels from all their years of experience and had also gained significant expertise in some aspects of life. Thank God for our elders.
Moving on, after a full day at work P and I decided to embark on another food trip along the halls of SM Aura, honestly we like it there since aside from it’s proximity to my workplace, its also less congested and presents us with a vast array of food choices to pursue and choose from.

Since I was craving for Sashimi this fine young night we decided to try out this restaurant called “Ogetsu” I haven’t really heard of this restaurant before however after looking it up on the net I came to know that it was a Japanese A la Carte Restaurant specializing in Sushi/Sashimi, Teppanyaki, and Table-side Sukiyaki Cooking. Its name literally means “Goddess of Food” and is from the proponents of Saisaki and Sambokojin. (Got this from Our Awesome Planet).
The success of a Japanese dish largely depends on the freshness of the ingredients and all those ingredients are served fresh on the platter as from what I’ve personally experienced. Also they didn’t let my glass and my teacup run on empty since they usually come up to us and fill our cups and glasses to the brim once they notice that were running low on our drinks.Customer service was great as they were quick to respond to our requests and orders.

The dishes were skillfully presented on plates. This was actually an amazing treat for us. What’s great about this restaurant is you can even watch your own food being cooked right before your eyes! However we did not opt for that option since a lot of people were already crowded over that area during the time we dined in there. The restaurant’s ambience had that cozy and homey look and it was presented with minimalist interiors. Definitely an engaging venue for friends, family and lovers to talk about anything and everything under the well lighted seats.

Ogetsu Hime is located at Sky Park, SM Aura Premier, Level 5, 26th Street corner McKinley Parkway, Taguig City
