Last January 29, 2015 the Kapuso Cook Off night was held and celebrated at the Poetry and Prose Patisserie Ground Floor, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong. This event is a cooking match held between 3 teams composed of GMA’s artists and top bloggers in the entertainment/ lifestyle and food industry.
These artists are Coleen Perez, Mayton Eugenio and Benjamin Alves. This event was hosted by the lovely and vivacious Stephanie Sol.

The program started off with a prayer and then an early dinner wherein French Cuisine was served such as Crepes, Sausages Rolls and the delicious servings of Quiche Lorraine.
After settling down, Stephanie Sol formally opened the event with a speech from Jojo Paje (The owner of the place) and then a live cooking demonstration ensued afterwards by their resident Chefs. The cook off between the various teams composed of bloggers and celebrities followed suit afterwards and then after the timer went off the presentation of the dishes to the judges were next on the program flow.

They sumptuous smell emanating from this delectable treats soon filled the air of the restaurant and everyone was more than thrilled to hear what the judges and expert chefs had to say about their food creations. We definitely had a lot of fun playing around with the ingredients and chatting with the celebrities.
Despite their rising fame and beauty they still remain to be grounded and down to earth. The awarding was the last part of the program along with the raffle draw wherein two lucky winners got to take home exciting prizes ranging from the stove, to aprons bearing the “Kapuso Cook Off” logo to various kitchen tools and wares.
It was a great night to remember since not only did we learn new life skills in the kitchen but we also gained new friends who also share the same passion for food as we did.
