As I welcome one of my favorite months let me cap off the the month of January with an update on how I have been so far.
January for me had been a period of adjustment and life changes but it was nonetheless fun! 🙂 Hey, the only permanent thing in this world is change right? and by resisting change you also resist growth so I guess some changes are good 🙂
One of the things I miss the most is getting more time to read the daily paper but I promise that I soon as I have everything in check already I would sit down and breathe the fresh air and then drink my morning coffee and then peruse the newspaper to get a bird’s eye view on the recent events on the headlines of out dailies.
Since I am already being a tad too talkative again and veering off topic I shall return to the purpose of this blog post which is to express my jubilation and happiness at this recent accolade that P gained! 🙂 Yey! 🙂 He just successfully defended his Strama (Strategic Management) paper which is the culmination of our MBA. Congrats Love! 🙂 Job well done! 🙂 Another feather added to your cap 🙂 Here’s to pursuing our other goals one step at a time. 🙂 Fist bump! 🙂
They had a “Mock Defense” session conducted at our friend’s place in Corinthian Gardens and as their resident “critic” Chrystler provided insightful comments and unabashedly bold corrections I listened in and was there to provide support to them since they were all about to defend their paper two days after.
We had a celebratory dinner afterwards at a new Thai joint located conveniently in SM Aura after his defense and I gave him a “customized mug” with a collage of our photos on it to congratulate him on this recent feat that he conquered. 🙂 Then we decided to watch a movie afterwards to avoid the “rush hour and the congested roads due to the heavy traffic.
Last Friday night we celebrated the “Wear Red Day” an annual tradition of our company to commemorate healthy living and maintaining a healthy and happy heart. 🙂 Everyone wore various shades of red in their stellar outfits as we attended an by invite only cocktail party while various well renowned singers and performers belted out various tunes and songs.
Then just yesterday one of P’s treasured childhood friends got wed to the love of her life and workmate “Orlan” they even got us as their photobooth for their wedding reception. How cool is that? Thanks Cris for letting us take part in this remarkable and memorable milestone of your life. May you have more blissful years ahead 🙂
We still have three more weddings to attend to these coming months and a handful of events to execute. I am brimming with excitement with all the planned activities ahead! 🙂 Wait for my next updates and blog posts 🙂 Until the next time. Ciao! 🙂
