Art in Island Weekend

Since we love adventures and new jaunts along the way. We try to spice things up by making a bucket list of things that we can embark on and go to and by the end of every year we look back at what we have accomplished so far and how far we have gone to the goals that we have set for ourselves at the beginning of the year.

Part of this bucket list of ours was heading out into the talk of the town 3d Art Museum along the confines of Cubao wherein you can gamely pose with their sculptures and make these paintings come to life!! 🙂 How cool is this? First we tried Painting our own canvass while eating some snacks and sipping wine at Sip and Gogh, then I went with my family to Pampanga and tried out archery, the giant swing, wall climbing, free fall (which is sort of similar to bungee jumping only on a low scale level) and the zip line and then I also tried my hand at shooting and firing a real gun which was quite bad ass I must say! 🙂 haha. Such an awesome high I get from all these adrenalin packed adventures! 🙂

Anyway, since I’m veering off topic once again let me get back to the story of this awesome weekend that P and I had since we were able to scrape two things off in our bucket list for the year which was to go the beach on a random road trip while stargazing at the beach front and going to this 3d Art Museum since the last one we went to was located at the outskirts of Antipolo it was at Pinto Art Gallery which continues to attract droves of artists and art enthusiasts everywhere. 🙂

So we purchased our tickets at the counter! 🙂 Good thing we got there quite early and we were able to avail of the student discount which was a couple of bucks too! 🙂 (Bringing your school ID sometimes has its perks, thanks to grad school). Too bad tripods weren’t allowed and so were shoes so we were forced to purchase their socks or else you would go around the place in your bare feet which wasn’t really our cup of tea that moment so I purchased their blue cottony socks for a 150 bucks. 🙂 It was quite cute I must say and quite comforting too! 🙂 haha.

Too bad it was just us when we went there, it would be a lot more fun if we came in a group so that we can all laugh at ourselves as we have fun playing around with the various paintings! 🙂 Overall, it was a great experience for us and we had loads of fun as we played with the artsy fartsy paintings and watch these come to life! 🙂
