Eat Happy, Stay Healthy with Metamucil

Nothing makes me happier in this world than getting my foodie cravings after a long and stressful week. I love trying out various things from adventures, to seeing new places to eating and dining out to new restaurants whether it’s a hole in the wall joint or a posh and lofty dining hall like Todd English. πŸ™‚

I just love eating out and satisfying my food cravings. However, in this fast paced life that we all strive to survive every passing day I often forget to take in my daily dose of fiber to regulate all the richness of the food that I intake. Just like the girl in the commercial I often get scolded or reprimanded sometimes by my Mom when in the middle of the night I sometimes opt for a midnight snack in the form of my favorite chocolate moist cake, or 3 scoops of my favorite cheesy ice cream or to just helping myself to generous creamy cup of coffee from my machine with an additionalΒ  3 cubes of sugar. πŸ™‚ What can I say? I love to eatΒ  that’s why because of this I have gained so much weight during the past few months or so. 😦 I have actually tried to cover up my flabby arms and my love handles by buying more tops with sleeves to cover up on my flabby extremities.

I have tried to skip a few meals now and then however it was kind of detrimental in a way to my ulcer so I just opted to lessen my rice and avoid soft drinks altogether from my diet. When I came about this product called Metamucil it kinda piqued my interest as to what it has to offer so I did a little googling on it πŸ™‚

Guess what I found out? I found out that adults are recommended to consume 20-25 grams of dietary fiber on a daily basis. However if you find it quite hard include fiber rich food on a daily basis then fiber supplements like Metamucil can be a good alternative as well since it’s made of 100% natural psyllium fiber to help you attain your fiber goals! πŸ™‚ How cool is that πŸ™‚

Some benefits of psyllium aside from promoting your digestive health, lowering your cholesterol levels it also helps you maintain your healthy blood sugar level as part of your healthy diet and helps you feel less hungry between meals which entails less hunger pangs on my part πŸ™‚ Yey! πŸ™‚
