Avene Make Up Remover Review

Last week was a blur of events and activities! So I am now trying to catch up on all my backlogs before my vacation trip to the beach this weekend! 🙂 Whohoo! 🙂 So that I don’t have to worry much about anything except the sun, lounging on the chaise lounges while sipping the cooling refreshments offered in our hotel. 🙂 Hello Palawan! 🙂

Another beach outing coming up but with my Mom and Sis this time around 🙂

I made a post before about the event which Avene had at Makati. Check out my link here. I could only wish that I could have also gone to the event to experience this new make up remover which will hydrate my face as well.

Good thing God hears my prayers and sometimes answers them immediately as I was invited by Mommy Lariza from Mom’s World to attend the PRC Inc anniversary dinner which is actually the PR Firm that handles Avene. They gave me my very own Make Up remover on that night! 🙂 Yey! 🙂

Finally got my own set! 🙂 Thank you PRC Inc

I have tried using alcohol-based makeup removers before and  though it successfully removed my makeup. I felt that I still had to wash off my face afterwards and it kinda stung me in the eyes. So I never used it again afterwards and just stuck to washing my face before heading off to sleep.

However, there are times when I just want to sleep on my bed after a long day filled with work and all my other extra curricular activities. So I was silently hoping and waiting for a moisturizing make up remover which can hydrate my skin as well as remove completely my make up after a long day.

I tried this product one evening after coming home from work and it only took me about 3 seconds of gently rubbing it on my skin and VOILA! my make up was easily removed!

A couple of other things I liked about the product were:

  • NO-RINSE FORMULA! – Especially after a long day. You can just rub it gently on your face and it removes all the make up and debris in a jiffy! 🙂
  • It doesn’t sting on the face- If  you know me that well you’ll know that I love using mascara’s since I have chinky eyes due to my Chinese descent I need to emphasize my eyes a lot 🙂
  • Avene is also well known for their Thermal Spring water. However, it can still be very costly and honestly to clean my face thoroughly I still wash my face with my  staple facial wash after removing my make up. Maybe it’s force of habit but nonetheless it’s still a great essential to pack in your bag.

I included it already in my essential must haves and always have it in my bag 🙂
