One of my goals this year is to make the most of my time by crossing out more items in my bucket list and going out of my comfort zone. So far I guess I have crossed around 5 items already doing one item every two weeks or so :)I’m even more excited to cross out more like scuba diving, flying a plane and indulging in the hot springs of Antipolo 🙂
One of these things is learning how to do calligraphy but of course I couldn’t really do it since it also comes with a cost like purchasing all those specialized inked pens and paying for your lessons. Good thing I was invited to the launch of Titus Pen’s newest Brand Ambassador none other than the lovely lass Liza Soberano who stars in one of the top rating soaps today “Dolce Amore” with her on screen partner Enrique Gil 🙂
Guess many have been wondering for quite some time now why I changed my blog name. It used to be Teampatlou before as a mixture of me and my boyfriend Pat’s names way back when we were together, this entry has been lingering on my mind for quite some time now and I honestly don’t know if it’s a good idea to publish this post but after giving it some thought I decided to publish this post because I want to pour my heart out on my sleeve and share with you some lingering thoughts at the back of my mind 🙂
He is the lead singer of the Grammy Award winning band, Maroon 5, and has made a name for himself with a signature voice that is sure to sweep women off their feet. Maroon 5’s releases have gone gold and platinum, setting records for most #1 singles and he’s been a judge on the Emmy Award-winning The Voice. He also starred in the indie film Begin Again, where his 222 Records label track Lost Stars was nominated for a Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.
It has been a whirlwind of events for me the past few weeks since I made it a point that this year will be the year that I would go out of my comfort zone and widen my horizons. Guess it’s time to face my fears 🙂
Since I have always been an extroverted person by nature, going to various events had always been I guess second nature to me however due to time and financial constraints adventures and travels were kinda put on hold or limited to just one or two travels per year 🙂
However since I’m almost on my last stretch of my schooling now and my weekends are mostly free now I have already started embarking on some milestones and adventures these past few weeks 🙂
It’s the summer season once again and with that comes the much awaited summer vacation and loads of activities that enthrall kids and kids at heart just like me like swimming, going to the beach, trekking and embarking on various adventures from the high mountain tops to the deep blue seas and discovering the aquatic gems underneath the pristine seas 🙂
So with all that it’s time to nix those stubborn Underarm Hair and Shape your Brows for you to be bikini ready this season and look great in photos too! 🙂 Since I usually go to Lay Bare to get my UA and EB Threading sessions done when I saw an offer of a partnership with a Waxing Salon located in the confines of the Fort I just could not pass up this opportunity so after my meeting last week I decided to pay them a visit 🙂
To be honest, I wasn’t really familiar with the brand name Aqua Mineral before maybe since I’m not really a beauty blogger by nature but more of a food and lifestyle blogger so when I got an invite to the launch of Aqua Mineral’s Salt Room I was really intrigued as to what’s it all about so I googled it up and just right then I was able to connect the dots and identify them as the people going around in malls with booths in Gateway and Century City Mall offering us free trials of their products since I usually window shop on my days off 🙂
If you’re a frequent mall-goer, you’ve probably encountered Aqua already. With seventeen locations in Metro Manila and Metro Davao malls, its a brand that’s hard to miss.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder some people say but we should never forget to take care of our skin and our outside appearance too since when you look good on the outside it also makes you feel good on the inside adding that extra confidence boost to your attitude making you that lady boss with the take charge attitude that you were meant to be 🙂
Last week was a happy week for me, not only did I get my well deserved break after the semester but I also got to spend some quality time with my family over the weekend since I have been out 2 weeks in a row widening my horizons like going on a camping/ backpacking trip in the hills of Quezon Province to chilling out with my friend from GradSchool in one of the private pools in Laguna.
We’re at the point in our lives when growing up means growing busier with our careers, our personal goals, our friends, and our new relationships. Some of us work extra hours. Others are focused in managing our own businesses. Some of us have hobbies and passions that keep us pre-occupied. In this fast paced life, how many of us can say we still try to make quality time for our moms?
Just last week we celebrated Mom’s Appreciation Day or Mother’s Day as we fondly call it however I believe that Mom’s Appreciation Day should not be limited to just one day but everyday so for those of you who want some neat ideas on how to show your Mom your love and appreciation for everything she has done for you. Here’s a lowdown on some ideas you can use 🙂
I have been out and about the past two weeks! 🙂 Hey as the saying goes, You Only Live Once right? I have always also been a firm believer that you have to do all things in moderation so that you don’t get swamped with work or burned out from all that has been going on with your life.
So after being quite toxic these past few weeks due to probably one of the hardest semesters in my graduate school life since I learned such alien concepts to me before like simulation techniques, queueing and linear programming methods which I have come to appreciate and have a renewed learning for I once again went out of my comfort zone and went with one of my good friends from grad school to their company outing held in one of the private pools of Laguna. 🙂
