I have always believed in widening your horizons and making the most of your time since even as a little girl I would always have my handy notebook with me so that whenever I had some random thoughts I would automatically pen it in my notebook and it would not be lost or forgotten and left to just a random passing thought.
However, as I grew older and as time eventually passed by I realized that I had to take control of my life and having a planner was inevitable since it makes me more organized as to the things that needs attending to. So when blogging came around it served as my online outlet and diary of all the things and random musings that I have on a daily basis. So for this month here goes..
July had been a blur of activities for me since I was mostly busy everyday that I only had one day a week to rest since I was still adjusting to my new Department at work and I was tasked to spearhead our Corporate AVP which thankfully turned out to be okay. 🙂 Yey! 🙂 Thank you to everyone who helped me put everything together.
So now that it’s done I’m now back to analyzing our Social Media Reports and working closely with our agencies to make sure that the message that we want to send comes across just right to our consumers. I still have a lot of projects in line in the coming months but that’s for another story. For now I would like to focus more on my upcoming plans and adventures that I would like to embark on! 🙂 Because life should be balanced in all aspects right?
So for this month we celebrated my Sister’s first pay! 🙂 Yey! I was so thrilled when I heard that my sister would treat us out to dinner after mass because since I started working it was me or my Mom who would mostly foot the bill whenever we dined out and I used to joke her before that “Sana someday ako naman libre mo” So imagine our delight when she treated the whole family out.
I also made time to have dinner last week with my friends from St. Lukes since we haven’t really gotten out that much since I left due to our conflicting schedules. Since I was coding that day I decided to just take the train and then the BGC Bus heading to the Fort since grab car rates were preposterously high due to the surge in demand!.
It was indeed a fun night of catching up and updating each other as to what we have been up to lately. With them I got to unwind once again and be my crazy old silly self haha 🙂 Lezza decided to treat us out since she got her cash bonus from her Sick Leave pay! 🙂 I then took a cab going home cause I didn’t want to bother my Mom to pick me up due to the heavy traffic.
I also participated in a Bridal Shoot wherein they got me as one of their models for their portfolio. It was shot in the lush green gardens of Parks in Wildlife somewhere in the North just near Trinoma. However, I couldn’t really stay long since I just took a half day leave from work that day so I had go beat the traffic and head back to work soon after so after some shots I immediately dressed up and drove to grab lunch somewhere near.
I also tried my hand at golf just last weekend. Trying to channel my inner Tiger Woods if there even was any..Guess there was none but who knows right? Maybe with a lot of practice someday I might just get it. I hit around 100 balls or so but I didn’t really know where some of it landed to my dismay. Wonder where it could have gone?Hmm. haha.
Last night was also the birthday of my close friend Eros from school and since he had somewhere to go to last night he just bought us a drink from Starbucks before class commenced.
For my class in Opeman last week we had a game and since our group got the answer right the presenting group gave us a prize. One of the reasons why I love going to school is because of all these games and creative presentations that our classmates tend to come up with.
Scuba diving was also an experience I got to try out this month. In case you missed it here’s a review on how it all went down.
I also tried out this new 3D Art Museum in Circuit Makati which features a lot of cool and 3D Artworks. You would have fun conjuring up a lot of wacky poses while seemingly interacting with these paintings. It’s better actually if you’re in a group when you visit this place so you would have someone to take all your crazy poses and remember to pack in an extra pair of socks so you wouldn’t have to go barefoot inside.
Food reviews are next in line since I also tried out a lot of new restaurants these past few days and everything was sooo good! 🙂 There’s always something new to do and somewhere to venture into. 🙂
In a few weeks from now I’m leaving with my bestfriend for Sg and I’m pretty sure another adventure is about to commence. Since she’s quite well travelled already I tried to do a little research on my own as to where I wanted to head out to and what are the things that I want to try there. Will post my updates soon but for now I gues that pretty much sums up my July! 🙂 Off to more adventures! 🙂
