Stockpile Launches their New Dishes
Thank God for days off! 🙂 That is my mantra for today as I filed for a day off from work to attend to my errands which needs my immediate attention and action as the days pass by so quickly.
Of course, even though my days are mostly filled with various activities here and there I should not forget relaxing and indulging myself in the things I love doing the most like blogging and food photography. So when the opportunity came to blog about this reputable food joint near my office I immediately confirmed my attendance and signified my interest in attending this dinner.
The restaurant is located inside Sapphire Block where quality food establishments abound 🙂 I love eating in Sapphire Block as the quality of the food always passes my standards and you can converse with your friends all night long as the establishments close at a later time than the usual.
Always make time to do the things that you love doing 🙂
There were 5 of us invited during that night. 5 girl bloggers from various professions 🙂 Most of us worked/ stayed in the area that’s why it was convenient for us to go there after our day jobs due to its vicinity to our place of work.
“The Stockpile is a Diner + Bar. We call it The Stockpile because it’s a place of abundance in food and drink, where the local community can gather to enjoy. In other words, a local watering hole. The food here is what one would call Western Comfort Food and ranges from small plates or tapas, soups, sandwiches, pastas to hearty meals and pizzas. “- Ian, Marketing Manager of The Stockpile.
The have a live acoustic band every Tuesday and Thursday, and a DJ that plays every Fridays. Enticing Promos also await their regular diners as it includes Buy one Take One for local beers daily except Fridays and Sunday.
For their daily promos they have Happy Hour Mondays to Thursdays and Saturdays for php 599 which includes unlimited cocktails, wine, and spirits such as Belvedere, Glenmorangie and Henessy from 5-8pm.
We were served a variety of good food such as:
Salted Egg Baby Squid with Squid Ink Aioli (php 295)
This one was right off the bat one of my faves from the menu as it offers an addicting taste to your palate which makes you want for more. A must-try indeed.
Bacalao Empanadas 3 pcsn (php 180)
The Stockpile Fries withTruffle Aioli (php 280)
6 Hour Slow Roast Porchetta Sandwich (php 295)
Steak and Fries (php 795)
Everything on their Menu was TDF! 🙂 I could binge eat every day with these mouth-watering delights! 🙂
Their servings are also good for 2 people already so if you’re tagging along someone its best to share their food 🙂
Will definitely come back to order some of these tasty creations of their gorgeous and talented Chef who also happens to own the place.
