Celebrate the Holidays Away at Pinac UP Town

It’s the end of the year once again but it’s nothing to fret about right? Because sometimes with endings come great beginnings and it just depends on how you view things. It’s all a matter of perspective I guess. 

I have been around this year to a lot of new food joints to grab some good grub and taste their new dishes. I must say that with every new joint that I visit, I get all giddy once again like a kid taking delight in the fact that I am about to indulge into another new concept store with a different cuisine and taste.Being a food lover by nature there is nothing I love more than good food and the experience that comes along with it. So when I got invited a couple of Saturdays ago to this joint in UP Town, I immediately jumped in on the offer and asked my Mom nicely if she could drive me to UP Town.

More fun and colorful days with new Gardenia snacks

I can’t believe it has been more than two weeks since I last updated my blog. Guess time really flies so fast these days. So anyway, I’m back from my 2 week hiatus! 🙂 Yey! 🙂 So before I begin with my slew of blog posts for this week let me first start off with something exciting for a foodie girl like me who likes to eat a lot 🙂 

Looking back as a kid, I loved to experiment with various types of snacks for our merienda from whipping up made up sandwiches with condensed milk, cheese whiz or melted butter  in between or to mixing my plain rice with some milo. (Yes, I know like to try different stuff out) But of course, bread for us would always be a staple in our snack time and one of those household names which rose to fame during that time and until now is the brand called Gardenia 🙂

Soban comes to Eastwood! :)

There are those kinds of days wherein you just want to lock yourself up in your room or in the attic in my case and just ruminate on life lately and how you plan to go about it in the next couple of years down the line. I guess, I still haven’t got everything figured up as of the moment. But then again, that’s the beauty of it right? Sometimes life catches us off guard and surprises us with opportunities that we never thought we would come across and we are changed for good. 🙂 So just last week I was invited to this Bloggers Food Tasting at Soban by Aldous from Aldous Ate the World. I wasn’t really keen on the place since it just launched last May but since it was just located in Eastwood it wasn’t that hard to find. Little did I know that I was in for a treat that night.

Sear Steak Scullery New Food Joint in Banawe!

When one speak of steaks, it usually creates a lot of excitement because it is hard to find good steaks, and most of the time they are expensive. Then comes Sear, the newest steakhouse in Banawe. To be honest, I wasn’t really keen on this place since it just opened and I don’t really frequent Banawe since it’s quite far from where I live and work.  But upon hearing that their speciality was STEAK and with a vast array of other mouth watering gastronomic delights as their other food offerings I just knew in my heart that I was SOLD! 🙂

7 Flavors on a Friday Night Out! :)

I can’t believe the past week just flew by so quickly! 😦 Time really does fly so fast especially when you’re having fun I guess. Now another weekend is about to commence and a long one for that matter so before another set of adventures come along I would have to deal first with some of my backlog from last week’s happenings and events.
One of those was the filling buffet spread which I indulged myself into. Located strategically along the confines of Wilson Street. 7 Flavors would surely give you the bang for the buck.that you deserve especially if you’re eating out with your friends 🙂

July 2016 Updates and Bucket Lists..

I have always believed in widening your horizons and making the most of your time since even as a little girl I would always have my handy notebook with me so that whenever I had some random thoughts I would automatically pen it in my notebook and it would not be lost or forgotten and left to just a random passing thought.

However, as I grew older and as time eventually passed by I realized that I had to take control of my life and having a planner was inevitable since it makes me more organized as to the things that needs attending to. So when blogging came around it served as my online outlet and diary of all the things and random musings that I have on a daily basis. So for this month here goes..

From Singapore to Manila! Annam Noodle Bar Opens in Eastwood!

Last Wednesday since it was a holiday I took the liberty to rest and enjoy my vacation in the middle of the week. Thank you to the current administration for declaring it as a holiday 🙂 I got to catch up on my much needed R&R and then during the evening of that  night I was invited over to try the newest craze in town with regards to Vietnamese Cuisine and being the foodie that I was who am I to refuse a good meal right? 🙂 So since Eastwood was near our place I just took a grab car and got there in less than 15 minutes 🙂 How convenient! 🙂

Sunday Brunch is now more exciting with Heat SuperBrunch

I love eating out and trying out various new food joints! 🙂 Guess that’s mainly the reason why I became a food blogger in the first place right? From randomly trying out various food stalls and new joints which seems to pop around here and there around the metro to sticking it out with my ultimate favorite food staples like mushrooms and STEAK! 🙂

But of course, I am very much welcome to new adventures and trying out new food joints especially when I get to satisfy my gustatory cravings and when it offers a wide selection of dishes and house specialties to choose from. How can one say no to that? The call of the food is simply irresistible for me so when one of my blogging idols and friends Richie from The Pickiest Eater invited me out for a Sunday Brunch at the HEAT I couldn’t pass up this chance. 🙂
