I really wished there was a day between Saturday and Sunday or than maybe I could take a breather from all the humdrum and just reflect and star gaze without a care in the world or better yet immerse myself in a retreat and just reflect, Just lost in my own stream of emotions and aimless thoughts just being forlorn in solitude as the words seem to recapitulate on my existence.
Anyway, I should stop all these lingering thoughts and just focus ahead on what’s coming up right? 🙂 Let not such hurdles block your sunshine and instead they should make you see the silver lining in all these things. Just strive to be better and keep your mind on the end goal. Remember nothing in life happens without sufficient reason and perhaps everything has a purpose. To make you better? To make you stronger? or To make you reach for your dreams more. 🙂 Sorry for all the ramblings, because I wanted to catch up on this much talked about movie I invited P to watch this movie with me and boy we definitely weren’t disappointed. To catch a general drift of what I’m talking about here’s a quick trailer of the movie.

I have read all the three books in this awesome, action packed trilogy and for me this one was the best. 🙂 It definitely did justice to the book although there were slight nuances to be noted from the book to the movie execution.
To give you a preview of what this is about here’s the movie trailer of the film.

Since it has been the talk of the town for weeks now since it came out at the cinemas. People couldn’t stop commenting on how true to life the scenes were and how well everything was well played and portrayed on the silver screen. I wanted to see for myself on how true these allegations were about this indie film by Jadaone. So what better way to see if what they said held some water in it by going to the cinemas and watching the movie first hand with my ultimate partner in crime P.
Here’s a quick trailer on this much talked about movie. 🙂 In case you haven’t watched it yet.

Can I just say first and foremost that I am such a fan of Taken the movie since it began. 🙂 I have watched it from the start until now the excitement in me never seems to wane whenever I hear that another sequel to this much loved, adrenalin filled and much talked about movie will come to hit our cinemas since it’s sure to be a hit!
We almost didn’t get a chance to watch it during its premiere night last January 14, 2014 just a day before the much awaited and highly anticipated Papal Visit to our country wherein hordes of people would surely line up and march along the streets of Manila just to have a glimpse of Christ’s Vicar here on earth.
As I was watching the Pope from our television as he deplaned from the Sri Lankan aircraft I began to feel goosebumps all over! You see he has that effect on the people, that renewed hope amongst us that despite the poverty and all the tribulations we are afflicted with on a daily basis. God still loves us and will cross borders and the widespread oceans just to see us and make us feel we are loved through his messenger the “Pope”.
Okay my emotions are getting the best of me again, going back to the topic here’s a quick trailer of the movie for you to watch and get adrift on what I’m blabbing about.

Everyone is all into beauty these days right? I mean who wouldn’t be? With all those glaring 6 pack washboard abs, taut flat bellies without scars nor stretch marks, porcelain/ alabaster skin, poignant noses, and killer smiles of our favorite celebrities plastered all over EDSA and in our movie screens and social media feeds.
What got me watching this movie is because it actually pokes fun at the deepest insecurities women feel nowadays especially when it comes to how they look on the outside. Is it really superficial beauty that matters? Watch and find out 🙂

Since it’s vacation and its the holiday season. We decided to make the most of our bonding session and watch a movie together. However, since it’s already December all the movies in the cinemas were all MMFF films so we just had to pick one movie to watch and bond over. 😀
Good thing! 🙂 My cousin works for Ayala Malls and as part of her employee benefits she had free tickets to any MMFF movie! :) Thanks Ate! 🙂 So here goes now another movie review. We picked this movie since Mom didn’t fancy horror flicks like Feng Shui and Shake, Rattle and Roll especially since my brother tagged along with us so he might get scared. 😀 So we opted to have a good laugh instead and preferred to watch English Only Please top billed by Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsey.
To get a general idea of what I’m talking about in case you haven’t watched it yourself here’s the movie trailer.

Egyptian princes Moses (Christian Bale) and Ramses (Joel Edgerton) were raised together as brothers. When Ramses becomes pharaoh, Moses becomes his most trusted adviser. However, when Moses’ true Hebrew heritage is revealed, Ramses banishes him to the desert and almost certain death. But, God has a mission for Moses: to free the Israelites from slavery. Moses returns from exile and demands that Ramses let his people go, but the arrogant ruler is unmoved, leading to a battle of divine wills.
Here’s a quick trailer of the movie.

I have always wanted to watch this film since everyone especially my girl friends had been gushing about it the minute it hit the cinemas. The plot was based on a best selling novel and it appeals to the emotions of the same audience of the book TFIOS.
It also tackles issues and emotions that are realistic and hard to bear for the faint of heart. It was just recently that I finally found the luxury of time to sit back and relax while watching this tear jerking movie.
To get a general idea I attached here the trailer of the movie. Enjoy watching 🙂 Hope you watch it for yourselves too it’s a neat movie! 🙂

I have read and pored over all the pages of this much talked about trilogy of the Hunger Games book by Suzanne Collins. I was hooked from the first novel and read on until I finished all three books. That was how my love affair for this trilogy started. I have also watched The Hunger Games to Catching Fire to the first part of the last book Mockingjay Part 1. So when I heard that this movie was about to hit the cinemas I was eagerly waiting again in the front line to catch a glimpse if it’s cinematic portrayal would do justice to the book.
For those who haven’t watched the trailer yet. Here’s a quick one for you.
