This year one of my goals is to travel and scratch off a few of my list in my handwritten bucket list that I made at the start of the year.I am slowly making progress and I am happy to say that in a span of 4 months since January I have already significantly come out of my comfort zone slowly 🙂
I love trying out new things and exploring new terrains so after swimming and diving off in the pristine beaches of Coron Palawan last month. I just came down from the mountains of Quezon from my first ever camping/ backpacking trip while stargazing and attending an indigenous Music Fest! 🙂 Also I registered myself in one of the most exciting events of this year! 🙂 Nothing less than the: COLOR MANILA RUN ! 🙂
November usually brings out the spooks in us and makes the hairs on our bodies rise maybe due to the All Soul’s Day coming up? 😀 But nonetheless a lot of the much awaited and anticipated events are up for grabs this month and I was fortunate to be invited to the press release of some of these events alongside some media partners, radio stations and bloggers. Since we all wanted to try something new and have an ultimate adventure we decided to embark on another new thing. Guess what? We decided to climb a mountain in Antipolo. But it wasn’t just an ordinary climb, it was actually a trail run wherein you have to conquer various obstacles like some trees, the muddy slopes, the rocky formations, pass over the falls, cross some rivers and just have a great time while running since there was a time limit to the runners.
I believe that you should maintain a healthy work life balance in your daily lives and what better way than to constantly develop yourself and your potentials. Just don’t forget your utmost priority which is of course YOUR HEALTH. How can you function efficiently and effectively if you are in great pain from an infirmity right? So anyway, we tried out this new place along the block of New Manila called Ala Gym and tried out their boxing program and see how we would fare in their fitness program. So here goes:
Since I just had an MRI for my whole spine after class last Monday and since we have been eating out almost on a regular basis already, We decided to advocate a healthier lifestyle so that we can pack on more calories from our food ventures haha! kidding! 🙂 No, actually it is for us to be healthier and also to look better since we want to shed off those few extra pounds we already gained over the course of the past few months of eating.
