Since my Mom will be away in Hong Kong on the day of my grandmothers actual natal day we decided to all gather yesterday at my cousin’s place with her retired group of friends to celebrate her birthday in advance and also to get together again as a family since were all quite busy these past few days that we rarely catch up on each others lives.
Since I still have a lot of things to do on my itinerary I will just cut this short and just sum up here most of the events which are note worthy that happened to me this past week of course who better to tag along with me than P.
We love meeting new people, going to events, trying out something new which will widen our horizons and broaden our perspectives, tasting various dishes and making new friends from all facets of life. Due to this what better way to spend my Saturday than by attending the much anticipated and awaited by invite only Blogapalooza 2014 held at the SMX SM Aura Convention Center yesterday at October 11,2014.
Since I am quite new to the blogging industry and have just been blogging for the past few months or so I was quite overwhelmed and really happy with the turnaround of everything that has been happening as of late for me 😀 I have been invited to a lot of events, product launches, TV Studio sets, cooking demonstrations, food tasting and by other companies which have yet to hit the consumer market or brands holding out some events who want to increase their scope of influence. Best of all? I get to do what I love to do best which is writing and blogging! 🙂 Yey! 🙂 How cool is that? 😀
Me and my friends are quite different in more ways than one but what binds us together is our ultimate love for adventure and trying out new things. YOLO! 😀 You only live once right? So anyway, moving on we heard about this new place that recently opened in both Eastwood and Jupiter Street in Makati at the old RCBC building (note: I was already spooked upon entering the vicinity since the place was quite dilapidated and outdated which adds up to the creepy feel of the place, the elevator too was sort of an old school lift which bores an uncanny resemblance to the one in most horror flicks that I watched). Too much movies I guess! 🙂
To be young, wild and free and just enjoy the frolic of the youth is one of the best gifts anyone can have and treasure. Don’t you think so too?
If only I can go back to being 18 again then that would be nothing short of AWESOME! 🙂 However, with age also comes maturity and wisdom in a way. We cannot always be frivolous and just living our lives without a clear and defined purpose. Sometimes, as much as we want to stay trapped in this youthful glory of ours like Peter Pan we have to learn life long lessons and be a better person in the end.
So anyway, moving forward with this blog post we would like to thank our client Ms. Rona for choosing us Photo booth Masters to cover her daughter’s very posh and sassy Victoria’s Secret inspired event. Her change of gowns were very classy and sleek which even came in with some wings like those from the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s fashion show which garnered loud cheers and hoots from the crowd.
A Night to Remember
A Starbucks stall was even positioned at the end of the hallway wherein the guests can have a dose of their regular caffeine fix or their favorite frapuccino for the young ones. The hallway was adorned also with an ark and a red carpet where the caterers were also placed alongside the photo booth and also placed in line was the event’s organizers table.
Since we all wanted to try something new and have an ultimate adventure we decided to embark on another new thing. Guess what? We decided to climb a mountain in Antipolo. But it wasn’t just an ordinary climb, it was actually a trail run wherein you have to conquer various obstacles like some trees, the muddy slopes, the rocky formations, pass over the falls, cross some rivers and just have a great time while running since there was a time limit to the runners.
Good Times is the place to go for entertainment, a cigar, beers, or a bite with your buddies after work, after a movie, during a hot date, or just because you wanna go out on a nice day. This is certainly a centrist joint, a community-oriented spot, a place with something for everyone.
Hi Teddy. One of their displays in the room which was cute however it took quite some space in the room that we weren’t really able to freely move aroundGood Times Logo
This is one of those throwback posts from 2 years ago. How time really flies when you’re having fun! 😀 One of us already got hitched just barely two months ago. Next thing you’ll know everyone will be talking about wedding bells, kids and all those family stuff that usually concerns grown ups. 😀
Treasure each passing day because time flies by so quickly you won’t know where all those time had gone by the time you reach 50. Laugh like there’ no tomorrow, take risks, love with all your heart and embark on awesome and breath taking adventures with your friends because you only have one life to live so better make the most out of it. I especially love my off days since I’m able to catch up on my writing. 😀
When we first heard of this Comedy- Musical coming up we (Me and my Office mates) immediately inquired about their ticket sales and available slots. We were quite stunned that most shows were already fully booked and sold out so we ended up purchasing a ticket dated at August 23, 2014 at 8pm on a Saturday night at the PETA theater.
Aegis songs which were comprised of an all female group became popular in the 90’s. Their songs were all about unrequited love, broken hearts and dreams which were shattered in the process. (A tad melodramatic it seems right? ). Their powerful vocals which resonated throughout the stage whenever they perform are something to really look forward to. So we just couldn’t contain our excitement when we heard that these songs from the powerful all girl group rock band were being made into a comedy musical play. We were eager to see how everything would eventually come into play and pan out.
This is a follow up post in relation to my other post regarding the Sweet Pea Restaurant. Me and my girlfriends decided to venture out again into another food trip so we ended up in this swell place called Big Bad Wolf.
We heard that this was a new joint which recently opened in Mckinley Hill (Disclaimer: This is a late post since we ate there almost 2 years ago way back in 2012). I’m just blogging about it now since I would also like to commemorate all those past food trips and ventures I had before with my friends. Continue reading “New Find of the week: Big Bad Wolf”
