Whoever said getting pregnant doesn’t weigh you down? Well maybe for a lucky few who doesn’t really experience that much of a weight gain as they carry another human being in their wombs for the next 9 months. But for those regular mortals like me and you, losing that post-partum weight isn’t at all that easy as 1,2,3.Continue reading “Gain that Confidence Back with a reliable Shapewear from Adam and Eve”
January had been a month full of changes. For some it begins with drafting their New Year’s Resolutions just like what they do every passing year. It spans from health goals, to fitness goals, goals to take up further studies or goals to find your soulmate in this busy and heartless world.
But for me, it’s just another year. Another new leaf on my book which I will turn as another year shall pass. It isn’t melodramatic nor am I pessimistic. Maybe I am just a realist. I guess I got tired of hoping every year that something big would come my way and change my life in ways I would not have expected. Because, truth be told nothing happens by accident. Whatever happens to you now has long been coming due to a series of your past actions and thoughts.
GOALS. We all have this. Whether this might be traversing around the world and going to various parts of the country, pouring your heart out in writing and publising your very first post in your blog, teaching in an academe or working in a good company and getting to talk about your company to your customers in various places. These goals keep us on our toes constantly and propels us to move forward each day with a purpose 🙂
I guesss, my passion for constantly learning new things and sharing these new insights to others reflect on my wriings and articles. That’s why when I heard of this new promo that PayMaya is launching. I could not help but get excited once again as I share to you their million peso promo 🙂 Who knows? You might just be their next big winner 🙂
I’m back! 🙂 The 3 day long weekend had served me pretty well as I got to relax and unwind in the comforting lush mountains of Baguio City where we usually spent our summers growing up as kids. As August is coming to a close this month and with the BER months lurking in just a few nights away I would like to recount all the wonderful things that had transpired during the past couple of weeks.
So where do I begin? Let’s start perhaps with the most memorable one which was me being invited to become a guest speaker in a noteworthy convention comprised of accomplished doctors in their respective fields. My deepest gratitude goes out to Dr. Maika from Micara Clinic for inviting me to be included in their roster of speakers on that day. It was truly an honor and a privilege to be there and I would never forget that.
I’m back! Feels so good to be back in the blogging world after taking a hiatus for a couple of weeks. I’m really sorry that I don’t get to update my blog more often due to the other pressing priorities which calls my attention but I promise to post at least once or twice a month once again to regale you with the latest happenings in my life. 🙂
So before I veer off topic again, let me first regale you with my recent adventure in the pristine shores of El Nido 🙂
It’s already the second quarter of the year! I can’t believe time flies so fast, soon it will already be 2018 and another new adventure is about to commence but before I get ahead of myself once again and digress from the topic let me first recount one of my recent jaunts this week wherein I finally found a cure/ a treatment for my chronic lower back pain which had been a perennial problem for me since time immemorial cause its been bothering me for way too long 🙂
They say that the best things in life come when you least expect it. This age old adage holds true for me since just last week as I celebrated my birthday my friends, family and KD all connived together to stage a surprise birthday bash for me.
To be honest, I wasn’t really familiar with this new ice cream joint called Bono Gelato until a friend of mine introduced it to me. I usually just gravitate to my staple favorites like the cheese and the pistachio ice cream flavors so I wouldn’t regret it when my family doesn’t like the flavor I chose and I will end up eating the whole tub of ice cream causing me extra calories and an unhealthy diet. Hello thunder thighs and flabby arms!
So when one of my blogger friends invited me to try out this new flavor from this Ice Cream joint I wasn’t really that optimistic and tried to lower my expectations simply because I didn’t like to be disappointed but then again maybe first impressions don’t always last especially in this case.
I have always believed in having a healthy work life balance. Simply put, you also have a life outside your work. That’s why I always list down my goals in my planner and keep tabs on it once in a while to ensure that I am making progress on my goals.
So far I guess I am on the right track since aside from working in my 9-5 job on a daily basis after work I usually go to the gym and ensure that I eat right, meaning I include more veggies and healthy options in my staple diet nowadays. Aside from that, I get to attend events again as much as my time permits and I am also entertaining other speaking engagements in the coming months. So before I get all consumed up once again in how my life had been these past few weeks let me recount first one of the foodie invites I went to just last week in Megamall. 🙂
Millennials like us have been called many names like entitled, shallow, and self-centered. But we all know that this is not true. There is more to us than what meets the public eye. We have our own passions, were creative and imaginative and most of all we aren’t afraid to take the big leap just to express ourselves.
People may sometimes misconstrue what I say because I am outspoken most of the time and I make it a point to have my opinion heard especially if I have something to contribute to the table. However, I still give value to the counsel of the years and I do not discount their advice to me since they say that the best teacher is through experience.
So with the counsel of our mentors and our gutsy attitudes I know that we can change the world somehow 🙂 That’s why when I was invited a couple of weeks back to the event of PayMaya I didn’t really hesitate since they would launch their new millennial brand ambassadors and I was stoked to find out who they would be.
