Some things are worth the RISK. I have been contemplating about it for quite some time now but I never had the courage to finally execute my plan due to my fear of needles and pain. However, upon learning from a friend that the procedure wasn’t really as painful as I thought, I tried to give it a go last Holiday 🙂 I finally got myself inked with a TATTOO 🙂 not those bad-ass tattoos you see on those prison break actors or those who are incarcerated behind bars but the cute ones for my brows 🙂
GOALS. We all have this. Whether this might be traversing around the world and going to various parts of the country, pouring your heart out in writing and publising your very first post in your blog, teaching in an academe or working in a good company and getting to talk about your company to your customers in various places. These goals keep us on our toes constantly and propels us to move forward each day with a purpose 🙂
I guesss, my passion for constantly learning new things and sharing these new insights to others reflect on my wriings and articles. That’s why when I heard of this new promo that PayMaya is launching. I could not help but get excited once again as I share to you their million peso promo 🙂 Who knows? You might just be their next big winner 🙂
It’s already the 3rd quarter of the year! Time really does fly so fast especially when you’re having fun. I can just remember the days when I was this wide eyed hopeful fresh graduate trying to find my niche in this seemingly challenging Corporate World and now I am already done with my MBA degree with 7 years of working experience under my belt.
I’m back! Feels so good to be back in the blogging world after taking a hiatus for a couple of weeks. I’m really sorry that I don’t get to update my blog more often due to the other pressing priorities which calls my attention but I promise to post at least once or twice a month once again to regale you with the latest happenings in my life. 🙂
So before I veer off topic again, let me first regale you with my recent adventure in the pristine shores of El Nido 🙂
They say that the best things in life come when you least expect it. This age old adage holds true for me since just last week as I celebrated my birthday my friends, family and KD all connived together to stage a surprise birthday bash for me.
The past few weeks had been a blur of activities but nonetheless fun 🙂 Aside from getting my feet wet again in the Corporate setting a lot of events in my personal life had also transpired.
With January done the love month now ushers in a lot of events and exciting adventures for all the couples and single ladies too like the hot air balloon festival in Clark Pampanga wherein rumors say is going to be the last show since developers plan to develop the area to a more profitable business. This one I should not pass up. Aside from that I have also booked myself to another beach vacation come the second quarter of this year. Can’t wait to go snorkeling again and see the aquatic wonders under the seas 🙂
But before I get ahead of myself once again due to my giddiness and excitement. Let me first recount one of the most relaxing spa sessions I had just last week along the confines of Paranaque. Despite me braving the arduous traffic I must say it was all worth it upon arriving to the place. Read on to find out more…
Being a woman can sometimes be a blessing or a curse it actually depends on how you perceive things. One thing I sometimes hate is the amount of time that we consume trying to make ourselves look attractive. I mean, going to the salon for our monthly hair treatment sessions and mani- pedi moments. Fitting out various outfits in retail stores trying to find the clothes that best compliments our figures, testing various make up swatches just to find the right shade for our skin tone.
Also when our monthly visitor comes, in my case it is usually accompanied by hunger pangs, mood swings and feelings of being bloated or depression at some point.
However, it is still a matter of perspective right? So you can opt to look at the glass half full or the glass half empty. In my case, I am actually trying to view that glass to be half full instead of the other way around. So despite us women taking a long time to beautify ourselves it also has gains in the long run since it makes you feel good about yourself especially if you look well on the outside, it makes you feel more confident with yourself on the inside.
With that said, monthly waxing sessions for my underarm hairs are usually part of my things to do every month. I usually head off to Lay Bare or to the nearest waxing salon within my location ATM and then get my treatments there. However, not everyone has the luxury of time and some may opt to go for the permanent solution to this recurring issue hence the birth of the Gentlemax Pro Laser Hair Removal 🙂
Being a blogger entails various kinds of things. Some do it for the compensation that it offers, some do it to serve as an outlet for all their innermost thoughts, some do it to make friends and meet new people from all walks of life and some just love to write.
What started as a passion project for me since 2014 has eventually bloomed into something more than what I initially bargained for. Through my blog, opportunities were opened and people from all walks of life became my friends. It widened my horizons too since I was invited to a couple of new product launches and up and coming hot spots in the metro.
For me, it is more than just getting freebies from your sponsors or brands but it is more of a personal expression. An online diary wherein I can vent what I feel and what I want to say. It is more of sharing my personal thoughts on various subject matters and releasing off some steam when I’m down in the doldrums.
I can’t believe it has been more than two weeks since I last updated my blog. Guess time really flies so fast these days. So anyway, I’m back from my 2 week hiatus! 🙂 Yey! 🙂 So before I begin with my slew of blog posts for this week let me first start off with something exciting for a foodie girl like me who likes to eat a lot 🙂
Looking back as a kid, I loved to experiment with various types of snacks for our merienda from whipping up made up sandwiches with condensed milk, cheese whiz or melted butter in between or to mixing my plain rice with some milo. (Yes, I know like to try different stuff out) But of course, bread for us would always be a staple in our snack time and one of those household names which rose to fame during that time and until now is the brand called Gardenia 🙂
It’s been more than a week since I last updated my blog once again and I know that it’s a pathetic and lame excuse to use the term”Life Got in the Way” once again but hey, I guess it holds true for me for the time being with so many things running across my mind right now and trying to device a way on how to balance everything out. I think I have been doing such a bad job lately neglecting some things which apparently should be part of my pressing priorities and just attending to them a tad bit too late which leads me to cram and procrastinate most of the time. Such a bad habit indeed! But, I’m trying to change that already. It’s just that maybe sometimes there are days wherein you don’t feel motivated or compelled to do anything significant. Nothing wrong about that but then again, there are priorities too that needs attending.
