They say the only constant thing in life is change right? Or was it death and taxes? haha. Now I don’t want to sound morbid here or too morose since December is just around the corner ushering in a season of festivities and special occasions so I’ll just keep everything light.
However, maybe I just don’t feel the Christmas spirit this time around. Not to be a grinch or dampen anyone’s spirit for that matter but I don’t know why I seem to be down as of late. I guess everything happens for a reason and maybe it takes a lot of maturity to be a grown up sometimes. So I guess I would have to do away with my happy disposition or maybe lessen all those things which seem to weigh me down and cause me undue distress. Some things got to give and when you feel that unhappiness constantly lingering in your thoughts. I guess it’s the time wherein you have to check with yourself and re-assess if you’re still on the right track and if this is still what you really want.
Another food trip down memory lane, in this case down the Bonifacio High Street Lane. We came across this new joint which happened to be a brainchild of Senator Pia Cayetano called “Slice” it advocates healthy dishes (Except for their desserts) perhaps since she is a triathlete on the side, one of the many hats she wears.
I came across this post from Elite Daily while browsing through my Facebook account earlier and it makes me think that with the advent of the hook up culture now especially since it is being propagated by the media and also some outside forces the real question is “Is it worth it?” or “Is the temporary high caused by some feeling worth it to destroy something that you have built over the years?” If your answer is “Yes” then perhaps you should not be in that relationship in the first place. However, if you find that one guy who changes your life and makes you a better person, makes your hazy views and paradigms in life a little bit clearer and someone who treats you like a princess. Well then honey, you have struck gold. Consider yourself lucky! 🙂 Work towards developing your potential and reaching out towards your goals. Live each day as if it’s your last, love like there’s no tomorrow and work on cultivating your relationship for the better so both of you can work as a team and maximize your potential.
