Can lost souls really peacefully co-exist with us humans? 😀 Well then, this is the novel turned movie for you to watch! 😀 For those science fiction fans out there welcome this novel by Stephanie Meyer with open eyes, arms and minds. 😀
You heard me right, Stephanie Meyer the author of the much esteemed and highly popular Twilight saga which I read all those books led me also to read this novel from cover to cover before heading out to watch it in the cinemas.
I seemingly forgot what I thought of the movie since it has almost been a year since it went viral on the movie screens but when I refreshed my memory by watching it again a while ago I decided to make a write up about it. For those who need a little polishing on the story line here’s a trailer of the movie. 😀 Enjoy!
I love poring over new finds especially when it comes to books/ movies which offer a fresh twist to the plot of the story. Recently a lot of good new movies are up for viewing and it actually affects your emotions on a more deeper level than you thought. It makes you think beyond the movie itself relating yourself to the characters and to the plot twists and turns of the movie.
To be honest, I haven’t read a single page of this best selling novel not because I didn’t have the luxury of time but also because I just found out about this awesome find recently. 😦 Anyway, since it has already hit the cinemas yesterday we decided to check this out and see for ourselves what the fuss was all about and if ever it will give justice to the book.
To get a general idea of what I was talking about here’s the trailer of the movie:
Since Annabelle the movie gave me the goosebumps and quite a fright with some scenes we opted to watch another movie this week after my work got done last Friday night. It got me singing the lyrics of Last Friday Night by Katy Perry:
We went streaking in the park
Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a ménage à trois
Last Friday night
Yeah I think we broke the law
Always say we’re gonna stop
I love Katy Perry’s songs like Last Friday Night, Dark Horse, Part of Me and the likes not only does she introduce a fresh air of music to my ears it also makes me want to dance to these bouncy tunes and also sometimes appeals to our emotions like your love that got lost and got away. “The One that Got Away” one of my ultimate faves from way back since it kept playing on the radio stations before non stop so it kind of rubbed off me as well.
There’s actually a lot of books made into movies that I want to watch when I get the chance. Get your popcorn, your sodas and your lazy boy seats at home all ready and set them all up as you dim the lights and just sit back and relax as you delve into the movie world once again. Anyway, since I haven’t pored over the action packed, thrilling book and I just heard rave reviews about this movie from my sister and my friends. P and I decided to watch this movie. To catch a general idea of the movie here’s the trailer of The Maze Runner:
The last time I watched a horror flick was about last year with my two friends at Power plant Mall. It was the time when Conjuring was released and we kind of got scared by the hair rising music and the unexpected turnaround of events and scenes.
Fast forward to 2014, another Horror Film has hit the Cinemas and I was about to catch the first night of it’s premiere with some friends from work. However, due to school obligations which later on got called off due to the heavy downpour, the bumper to bumper congestion of cars along the lanes of Edsa and Kalayaan and due to the clogged drainage systems which eventually led to some flooding along the streets hampering the travel time of commuters and motorists alike. School last night got called off. (Yey or Nay?)
To have a general idea of what’s in store for you once you hit the cinemas here’s a quick trailer of the movie:
Ever wanted to know about how men think and feel? And also what goes around in their conversations when they grab a couple of beers and drink the night away on a weekend? Well, About last night is the perfect movie for you since it actually gives you a heads up on how guys minds work and how they misconstrue some of our day to day acts and words as women who are more prone and known to be more emotional and subservient.
Here’s a quick trailer of the movie to get you going and to give you a brief background about it:
Since I just wanted to chill out and have a good laugh after hearing Sunday mass and having dinner later on at home. P and I decided to watch movie at home and he suggested watching “Blended” starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore who were also screen partners in their erstwhile movie The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.
To get a general idea of what the movie is all about here’s the trailer of the movie.
After scouring through various food stalls we just decided on eating in a fast food joint wherein they sizzle and cook your food right before your very eyes and then after that we headed off to Magnum Cafe to grab my favorite dessert (Ice Cream!) topped with some caramel bits, dried mangoes and some yogurt kisses this was also dipped in milk chocolate and came in with a vanilla base. Sounds yummy right? It is! 😀 Definitely a must try! 😀
However, that will be for another post since I want to pay tribute to the awesome movie called “The Giver” which we watched last week.
Inserted in this post is the trailer of the movie we enjoyed watching earlier starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. This is a comedy movie featuring a ten year married couple who had lost their luster with regards to their sex life and wanted to spice things up and a bit and up the ante a notch.
Since I wanted to unwind after a long and tedious day, I decided to take the chance to watch this new movie I copied from my friends hard drive. After finally settling for this movie called “About Time” which seemed to tickle my fancy and piqued my interest I decided to give it a go.
