To be young, wild and free and just enjoy the frolic of the youth is one of the best gifts anyone can have and treasure. Don’t you think so too?
If only I can go back to being 18 again then that would be nothing short of AWESOME! 🙂 However, with age also comes maturity and wisdom in a way. We cannot always be frivolous and just living our lives without a clear and defined purpose. Sometimes, as much as we want to stay trapped in this youthful glory of ours like Peter Pan we have to learn life long lessons and be a better person in the end.
So anyway, moving forward with this blog post we would like to thank our client Ms. Rona for choosing us Photo booth Masters to cover her daughter’s very posh and sassy Victoria’s Secret inspired event. Her change of gowns were very classy and sleek which even came in with some wings like those from the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s fashion show which garnered loud cheers and hoots from the crowd.
A Starbucks stall was even positioned at the end of the hallway wherein the guests can have a dose of their regular caffeine fix or their favorite frapuccino for the young ones. The hallway was adorned also with an ark and a red carpet where the caterers were also placed alongside the photo booth and also placed in line was the event’s organizers table.
Our first out of town trip as a couple with my sister tagging along with us since we also wanted her to have fun and have a great time we decided to invite her. We (Me and Krizel) fetched Pat from their place after loading up on some gas first (Hey you have to be prepared for these trips).
Anyway, we headed off to Nuvali since we still had a family dinner around 7pm at my uncle’s place to celebrate Mother’s Day with the family and Pat was also invited! 😀 (Yey!) We left Manila around 10am and since it was already quite late when we headed out we also arrived there a little past lunch already. We were even thinking of stopping over at Tagaytay, however due to the time constraints we decided to just stick it out at Nuvali.
Since it was a Sunday and I had work yesterday, Pat decided to pay me a visit at work since we were going to hear mass and dinner will follow suit afterwards. We decided to head out to mass and then maybe play some board games with his friends since we were all in constant communication with the group during the course of the night.
However, mass finished a little late and then came the heavy downpour of the rain so we just decided to reschedule our night out with our friends and just have a casual dinner somewhere near. After scouring Morato for another new find we decided to just eat at Rub Ribs. Although we ate there before we just consented on eating there again since we thought it was a good find and since both of us were already starving after the mass.
After watching the movie called Sex Tape we were starving already since it was kind of late already so we just charged my laptop somewhere, bought some necessities for home and then decided to have dinner somewhere nearby but also budget friendly. (Thanks for thinking about my budgetary constraints Love)
To be honest, we had quite a hard time finding the place despite it being just behind Rockwell since we didn’t really explore into hole in the wall joints. We just heard this was a good place to eat and people were queueing up to be served. This joint is located at 5887 Fermina Street, Corner Enriquez Street, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City to be specfic.
Inserted in this post is the trailer of the movie we enjoyed watching earlier starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. This is a comedy movie featuring a ten year married couple who had lost their luster with regards to their sex life and wanted to spice things up and a bit and up the ante a notch.
Since I missed Pat and I wanted to see him I drove off to fetch him from his place after I came from work, unfortunately due to the heavy traffic congestion along EDSA we decided to just meet up at Robinsons Magnolia since he also had to drop by there to buy some stuff and I also had to do some last minute errands.
We met at Robinsons Magnolia around 8pm since I was caught up in the heavy traffic and afterwards we decided to eat out and have some dinner since both of us were starving and we also had to do it quickly since the restaurants were all closing in at 9pm. Since mall hours are only until 9pm on weekdays. We were even supposed to grab some yogurt after dinner but Red Mango was already closed before we were even able to purchase. Maybe next time at a more earlier time.
This is a late post upload detailing our food trip last Thursday in Tomas Morato after our Photobooth Event in Trinity wherein our OB- Gynecology doctors from St. Lukes decided to hire us to cover their Zumba event. Looks like they had a lot of fun playing around with our hand made props and also taking turns queueing in our photo booth.
Thank you for choosing us St. Lukes (OB- Gynecology Department) also in coordination with our Marketing team.. More events to come and more note worthy memories to come.
This event took place last Thursday (August 7, 2014) at the Trinity Gymnasium around 6pm- 9pm. Our OB- Gyne doctors from St. Lukes in coordination with our Marketing Team came up with this Fitness Zumba Event and they hired us Photobooth Master’s to cover their event.
Thanks Ms. Veggie and Mara for trusting us to cover your event. See you again next event! 😀 So anyway moving on, I was kind of feeling a little bit down under the weather and came in a little late to meet up with Pat and David at Shakeys since they were both having a little snack already before the event since we knew that we would both become busy in attending to the guests who wanted to have their photos taken and we would also have to set up the booth as quickly as possible. So after eating as quickly as possible we headed off to set up the booth while David left to attend to his car wash business and offered to give us both a ride after our event if we had no ride home. Thanks David!
Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 American superhero movie based from the best selling Marvel Comics.
You can pinpoint the exact moment in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy that Peter Quill the protagonist transforms into a genuine movie star. It’s about five minutes in. Peter Jason Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord, a legendary (in his own mind, at least) outlaw who’s was abducted by a group of mercenaries who were all after their own interests. They eventually settled into a planet called Morag and he availed of its hidden treasures.
The story plot begins when Quill’s mom is on her deathbed and as she breathes her final breath our child protagonist walks out of the hospital and gets abducted by aliens. (I’m not really familiar to this story so please forgive some discrepancies; these interpretations and writings are only borne out of my own observation from the movie.
He eventually settles into the planet called Morag and becomes a rogue outlaw who steals from people even deceiving the one who abducted and adopted him. He gets arrested after having been caught in a combat with a Green Girl (Gamora) She was created to be a secret weapon by someone called “Thanos” (Did I get this right?) Haha. Anyway, moving on they were fighting over an orb (All all powerful titanium ball which contained a velvet stone which possessed such enormous power to those who touches it). They eventually get apprehended after causing much ruckus and disruption and form an unlikely alliance with a raccoon and a talking tree (Groot) who’s vocabulary is limited to the words “I am Groot” (Well this was until the ending comes along.) SPOILER ALERT!
Anyway this certain “orb” was basically the object of the whole movie wherein the characters were becoming crazy protecting it and being careful not to let this guy called “Ronan” get this since it would be put into bad use or self serving interest. (Aren’t they all selfish?). Ronan wanted to be the most powerful God here in the Galaxy and by getting hold of the power of the orb he would be able to destroy worlds which our protagonists are struggling to prevent.
With a lot of battle scenes , action packed in betweens and also some funny and witty retorts along the way this movie is a must watch for me. I may not be that much of a Marvel fan but at the end of the day I definitely had a great time not just because I watched it with Pat but because the movie was awesome. There wasn’t a dull moment and I was at the edge of my seat for most of the movie duration.
