Since its back to school and work for me again tomorrow I will make the most of this blog post and give you a low down on the “fun filled” things that happened to me this week. Some of my friends commented that “They admire my writing and posts since it’s very personal and its like writing in your diary” That’s why the title of this blog is “The Lost Diaries” because it was meant to be my online diary of my various adventures and personal experiences as I go along through this awesome adventure filled life. Happy reading! 😀
We all have our HERO icons right? Whether it be the Marvel characters that we really idolize and queue up for when their much awaited and anticipated movies hit our cinemas. Whether it be the Avengers, The Legendary Ironman, The very clever and introverted Batman, The masculine and handsome Superman or our very own Captain America who charmed his way to our heart due to his boyish charms, innate charisma and stellar good looks.
I was fortunate to be invited to visit the set of “Idol sa Kusina” last Monday (September 29,2014) featuring multi-awarded and world renowned chef Boy Logro who also happens to own his very own culinary school advocating budding entrepreneurs and helping our young hoteliers and aspiring chefs in the future to reach for the stars and traverse the seas just like what our resident chef did during his sojourns.
Well hello there! 😀 It seems that my day off from work is already coming to a close and tomorrow is another brand new working day! 😀 Whohoo! 😀 Which entails that I must hit the sack soon to catch up on my much well deserved R&R but before I do that I will post another one of our recent food trips to decrease my blogging back log and also to share with you my experience about this new joint we tried. Woot Woot! 😀
So moving on, since I had work that day P and I decided to meet up at the Fort and have dinner since I was also going to drop by the Fort after work because I would have my hair trimmed for a few inches (chop, chop) and also get my well deserved pampering session since I recently received a coupon from David’s Salon which entitles me to a haircut with a free massage and hot oil for only 300 bucks 😀 Cool right?
So to make the most of this opportunity I decided to avail of it. Thank you to our sponsors 😀 Yey! 😀 The other day I got a free make up session/ free make over from Wet and Wild cosmetics along with their talented Hair and Make Up artists :D. Meanwhile my friends Kat and Jallin got their nails painted in a very vibrant pink tone. 😀
We love meeting new people, going to events, trying out something new which will widen our horizons and broaden our perspectives, tasting various dishes and making new friends from all facets of life. Due to this what better way to spend my Saturday than by attending the much anticipated and awaited by invite only Blogapalooza 2014 held at the SMX SM Aura Convention Center yesterday at October 11,2014.
Since I am quite new to the blogging industry and have just been blogging for the past few months or so I was quite overwhelmed and really happy with the turnaround of everything that has been happening as of late for me 😀 I have been invited to a lot of events, product launches, TV Studio sets, cooking demonstrations, food tasting and by other companies which have yet to hit the consumer market or brands holding out some events who want to increase their scope of influence. Best of all? I get to do what I love to do best which is writing and blogging! 🙂 Yey! 🙂 How cool is that? 😀
Me and my friends are quite different in more ways than one but what binds us together is our ultimate love for adventure and trying out new things. YOLO! 😀 You only live once right? So anyway, moving on we heard about this new place that recently opened in both Eastwood and Jupiter Street in Makati at the old RCBC building (note: I was already spooked upon entering the vicinity since the place was quite dilapidated and outdated which adds up to the creepy feel of the place, the elevator too was sort of an old school lift which bores an uncanny resemblance to the one in most horror flicks that I watched). Too much movies I guess! 🙂
To be young, wild and free and just enjoy the frolic of the youth is one of the best gifts anyone can have and treasure. Don’t you think so too?
If only I can go back to being 18 again then that would be nothing short of AWESOME! 🙂 However, with age also comes maturity and wisdom in a way. We cannot always be frivolous and just living our lives without a clear and defined purpose. Sometimes, as much as we want to stay trapped in this youthful glory of ours like Peter Pan we have to learn life long lessons and be a better person in the end.
So anyway, moving forward with this blog post we would like to thank our client Ms. Rona for choosing us Photo booth Masters to cover her daughter’s very posh and sassy Victoria’s Secret inspired event. Her change of gowns were very classy and sleek which even came in with some wings like those from the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s fashion show which garnered loud cheers and hoots from the crowd.
A Starbucks stall was even positioned at the end of the hallway wherein the guests can have a dose of their regular caffeine fix or their favorite frapuccino for the young ones. The hallway was adorned also with an ark and a red carpet where the caterers were also placed alongside the photo booth and also placed in line was the event’s organizers table.
It was exactly this day: August 16 in the evening only 57 years ago when my uncle was born. He wasn’t really fond of parties much more celebrating his own natal day so we were quite surprised when he invited us over to their residence in Tierra Pura to celebrate his birthday with him and his family.
Since I missed Pat and I wanted to see him I drove off to fetch him from his place after I came from work, unfortunately due to the heavy traffic congestion along EDSA we decided to just meet up at Robinsons Magnolia since he also had to drop by there to buy some stuff and I also had to do some last minute errands.
We met at Robinsons Magnolia around 8pm since I was caught up in the heavy traffic and afterwards we decided to eat out and have some dinner since both of us were starving and we also had to do it quickly since the restaurants were all closing in at 9pm. Since mall hours are only until 9pm on weekdays. We were even supposed to grab some yogurt after dinner but Red Mango was already closed before we were even able to purchase. Maybe next time at a more earlier time.
I have so much backlog with regards to posting and blogging in our site 😦 So sorry. I’ve just been very busy with school requirements and also with some work reports since it’s almost our semestral break and we had less than a week to come up with our Final Marketing Paper along with all the Financials and Start up costs which also came along with our own definition of our 4P’s, the SWOT Analysis of our Product/ Service and also the Porter’s Analysis.
Good thing we eventually came through, Hello Sem Break! 😀 I missed you! 🙂 Now that I have a week to enjoy my break before enrollment resumes I will update my blog and keep on posting on my backlogs. I will also catch up with my favorite past time (Sleep) and will also watch my long overdue movies in my laptop which Pat copied from his computer. (Thanks Baby!) .
